Bộ môn vật lý điện tử hiện có 1 đội ngũ giảng dạy chất lượng cao, đáp ứng nhu cầu đào tạo cho cả 3 lĩnh vực: Linh kiện điện tử và hệ vi cơ điện tử (MEMS), Thiết kế vi mach và hệ thống nhúng, Tự động hóa – robot. Ngoài đội ngũ giảng viên, trợ giảng cơ hữu, bộ môn vật lý điện tử còn có liên kết với nhiều giảng viên, giáo sư trong và ngoài nước thường xuyên thỉnh giảng.
Bên cạnh công tác đào tạo trong nước, bộ môn Vật lý điện tử còn đẩy mạnh hợp tác, liên kết đào tạo với nhiều trường đại học uy tín trên thế giới tại các nước Pháp, Hàn Quốc, Nhật Bản. Có thể kể ra như: ĐH Osaka, ĐH Tohoku, ĐH Risumeka, ĐH Yon Sei, ĐH Chunbuk, ĐH Paris. Hàng năm bộ môn đều có những suất học bổng, thực tâp cho những sinh viên và cán bộ có thành tích học tập, nghiên cứu tốt.
