Tăng cường hợp tác với các ngân hàng trong và ngoài nước để mở rộng mạng lưới ngân hàng đại lý và ngân hàng thanh toán.
Để đảm bảo hoạt động bình thường cho ngân hàng khi xảy ra tổn thất, ngân hàng nên mua bảo hiểm cho thẻ (nếu có) hoặc được phép trích lập quỹ dự phòng rủi ro cho hoạt động thẻ để bù đắp thiệt hại cho khách hàng khi có xảy ra sự cố trong hoạt động kinh doanh thẻ
