Để quản lý và phát triển giáo viên của các trường cao đẳng đến năm 2020, định hướng đến 2030 khả thi, cần đảm bảo các điều kiện sau: Đánh giá đúng thực trạng giáo viên nhà trường, dự báo nhu cầu phát triển giáo viên... xác định nhu cầu, hình thức đào tạo bồi dưỡng giáo viên phù hợp, khả thi. Nhà trường phải có hệ thống tiêu chí đánh giá năng lực giáo viên, có chính sách về đào tạo và bồi dưỡng nâng cao trình độ giáo viên.
