Trên đường đi về, em đã từng chứng kiến nhà bị cháy quán karaoke 8 tầng rất đáng sợ và có một người cầm bình chữa cháy để phun lửa.
Vào buổi sáng, em bắt đầu đi học thấy nhà chưa bị cháy. Sau khi tan học xong buổi sáng, em thấy nhà cũng chưa bị cháy. Lúc 18h, lửa xuất phát từ biển quảng cáo trên tầng 2, sau đó lan rộng 8 tầng quán karaoke ở số 85 phố Nguyễn Khang (Cầu Giấy, Hà Nội). Nghe tiếng hô cháy, khoảng 20 nhân viên và khách hát hò nhau tháo chạy ra ngoài.
Do các phòng hát chứa nhiều thiết bị dễ cháy nên lửa bốc rất mạnh, bén sang cả đường dây điện chạy phía trước. Người dân sống liền kề với quán cũng vội di dời tài sản vì sợ lửa bén vào.
