CHAPTER III: METHORDOLOGY3.1 SamplingIn the study, 3th year students of English major were chosen to interview. In each class, 20 students were chosen randomly, both male and female 3.2 InstrumentsTo get the information from six classes, the questionnaire was used as the instrument of the studying.The questionnaires were designed in English. However, to make sure that the do can understand all the items clearly, the questionnaires were translated into Vietnamese and delivered to do.The questionnaire was designed according to the following principles: The do can finish the questionnaires completely quickly almost situations. All data can be coded and analyzed statistically.The questionnaire was divided into three parts. Part one is a table of Check () e questions to determine the students ' personality idea, part two is a group of multiple-choice questions for students to self-evaluate in the preparation and the last gets the comment directly.3.3 Procedure3.3.1 Piloting of the questionnaires The questionnaires were first sent to ten (10) students in University faculty, English HUTECH for piloting. The students understood most of the questions. However, two (2) did not understand clearly the direction of question 1 to 4, so they chose more than one just choice. In addition, one of them showed us an error that we used wrong words.Those issues were carefully considered and quickly corrected, which will be mentioned in the next part.3.3.2 Final Editing QuestionnaireThe contents of the questionnaire were carefully considered and quickly corrected by adding specific direction so that they can understand clearly and prepare the correct words. The questionnaire was carefully seen by every member of study group.3.3.3. Administrating QuestionnaireThe study was carried out from March 30th to April 2nd. The questionnaires were sent to the students directly. The questionnaires were distributed directly to the students of the 3rd student of English faculty during the break times of their classes including from 11DTA01 to 11DTA06. The students were chosen randomly and demonstrated clearly about the purpose of the questionnaires. The researchers were nearby to answer any questions or explain anything that was not cleared to the do.3.3.4 Data Collection During the data collection process, we had to face many challengers. First of all, we found that it was hard to give our questionnaires to volunteers studying others classes because of different schedule. Then, we had to explain our purpose and their benefit from the study. With some volunteers, we could give and get back questionnaires right their classes. However, others couldn't finish at class so we had to wait for them unstil next 2 or 3 days. Fortunately, there were 110 of 120 questionnaires returned from the volunteers. By using these 110 questionnaires, data will be analyzed in the next chapter 3.3.5 Data Analysis All data gathered from questionnaires were divided into part and shared to members of group. For 1 quest to quest 7, numbers of choices were counted and writing in table below each question. Quest 8 is exception because it's the only open-ended question. Therefore, a list of answer was made and described in percentage.
