• Đẩy máy cán dọc đường ray sao cho trục cán nằm thẳng hàng với mương mủ cần cán .
• Ấn nút màu xanh cho máy hoạt động.
• Khi trục máy quay đều, cho mủ vào trục cán bằng cách :
 Hai người ở trên hai thành mương đánh đông, hai bên máy cán .
 Dùng tay đưa mủ lên trục cấp liệu (cấm không được dùng chân hoặc gậy bằng sắt thép đẩy mủ vào máy ).
• Khi máy cán đã ngậm mủ vào trục thì thả tay và theo dõi máy và cả mủ, nước trên mương ( Nếu mủ dính mương thì dùng móc sắt để kéo phụ trợ).

 Nếu đứng phía trước máy thì ấn xoay nút ĐỎ.
• Khi vận hành trở lại, phải vặn nút dẫn hướng về QUAY NGƯỢC (REVERSE) rồi mới bật nút màu xanh đưa mủ ra khỏi trục.
 Tắt máy bằng cách ấn nút DỪNG ( STOP ) màu đỏ.
 Xoay nút chỉnh hướng về QUAY THUẬN (FORWARD ) rồi tiếp tục vận hành như đã nêu trên.
• Khi cán xong một mương, tắt máy bằng cách ấn nút STOP màu đỏ, trước khi đẩy máy đi mương khác

• Xả hết nước trong mương dẫn mủ, vệ sinh mương dẫn sạch sẽ.
