Môi trường sống đang là sự quan tâm mang tính toàn cầu. Ô nhiễm môi trường và những tác hại của nó đối với cuộc sống ngày càng nặng nề hơn. Do đó chuyện bảo vệ môi trường xanh – sạch – đẹp là nhiệm vụ của tất cả tất cả người.

Ai cũng biết rằng môi trường có một ý nghĩa to lớn và vô cùng quan trọng. Môi trường là không khí, là thức ăn, là sự cân bằng sinh thái đảm bảo cho sự sống của con người. Môi trường quen thuộc và gần gũi với chúng ta như những người bạn thân thiết không thể thiếu được trong cuộc đời. Thế nhưng vì lợi ích trước mắt, con người vừa đối xử tàn tệ với môi trường, thậm chí cố tình hủy hoại môi trường mà không biết rằng làm như vậy là tự hủy hoại cuộc sống của chính mình.

Chặt phá rừng, vứt rác bừa bãi, xả nước thải, rác thải công nghề không đúng quy định của các nhà máy, xí nghiệp… là những nguyên nhân gây ô nhiễm môi trường nghiêm trọng, ảnh hưởng trực tiếp tới đời sống của con người. Khí hậu Trái Đất đang nóng dần lên một cách bất thường và càng ngày càng khắc nghiệt hơn là nguyên nhân dẫn tới những thiên tai như giông bão, sóng thần, lở núi, lũ quét, lũ bùn, hạn hán… ngày càng dồn dập xảy ra trên khắp thế giới, để lại những tác hại ghê gớm khôn lường về của cải và tính mạng. Sự biến đổi khí hậu của Trái đất đang ngày càng để lại những hậu quả nghiêm trọng đối với thiên nhiên và với chính xã hội loài người. Tuy nhiên không phải ai cũng biết sự nóng lên toàn cầu có thể tạo ra những hình ảnh đáng sợ mà chúng ta thường thấy trong các bộ phim kinh dị.

Nhân loại phải làm gì đây để cứu lấy môi trường ?. Có rất nhiều giải pháp song vấn đề hàng đầu vẫn là giáo dục tuyên truyền nâng cao nhận thức về tầm quan trọng của môi trường sống và ý thức trách nhiệm của mỗi công dân trước cộng đồng. Trước hết, chúng ta phải giữ gìn môi trường sống xung quanh cho sạch sẽ, không vứt rác ra đường, ra những nơi công cộng. Điều này nhỏ nhưng không dễ, phải luyện thành ý thức tự giác thường xuyên. Các nhà máy, xí nghề phải được di dời ra xa khu dân cư. Việc xả khói thải, nước thải, chất thải phải được kiểm tra thường xuyên, liên tục theo quy định. . Bên cạnh chuyện nghiêm cấm chặt phá rừng là chuyện trồng cây gây rừng phải được làm thường xuyên, liên tục để phủ xanh đất trống đồi trọc, duy trì lá phổi xanh cho Trái Đất, tạo sự cân bằng sinh thái cho môi trường.

Trong trường học, học sinh các cấp phải được giáo dục về ý thức bảo vệ môi trường sống thông qua các hình thức như tham gia các kì thi tìm hiểu môi trường, tham gia đội tình nguyện bảo vệ môi trường… để có được những hiểu biết cơ bản và từ đó tự giác lũy phần tạo ra môi trường sống xanh – sạch – đẹp.

Bảo vệ môi trường sống không phải là nhiệm vụ của riêng ai. Môi trường sống bị ô nhiễm nghiêm trọng vừa và đang đưa ra những lời thông báo dữ dội đối với loài người. Mỗi người chúng ta, hãy biết ý thức hơn trong việc bảo vệ môi trường.. Một hành động nhỏ, nhưng ý nghĩa lớn! Hãy bảo vệ môi trường sống như bảo vệ cuộc sống của chính chúng ta !. Hãy cứu lấy trái đất !
