Sự kiện giao lưu văn hóa này do ủy ban nhân dân thành phố Hội An phối hợp với cơ quan hợp tác quốc tế của nhật bản và thành phố Sakai của Nhật tổ chức là một trong những họt động kỉ niệm lần thứ 35 ngày thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao giữa hai nước việt nam và nhật bản
