Tại Việt Nam, nếu một người dân có thu nhập cao sẽ cần phải đóng thuế thu nhập cá nhân cho chính phủ. Tùy theo tổng mức thu nhập trong một năm nếu vượt quá con số qui định, tức là bạn là người có thu nhập cao, bạn sẽ phải đóng góp thuê thu nhập cá nhân. Trong trường hợp này, bạn là người có tài sản cho thuê, và thu nhập từ việc cho thuê của bạn là cao hơn so với mức qui định của chính phủ nên trước khi gửi lợi nhuận cho thuê cho mỗi khách hàng, công ty sẽ thu một phần thuế theo qui định và nộp cho chi cục thuế của tỉnh.
