Âm nhạc dân tộc chưa đến được với các bạn trẻ, thanh thiếu niên thì coi như thiếu một phần sức sống”. Và một điều quan trọng là nên đưa âm nhạc dân tộc vào học đường, giáo dục cho các em học sinh ngay từ khi còn trên ghế nhà trường. Khi các em học sinh biết rằng âm nhạc dân tộc có cái gì, hay ở chỗ nào thì các em mới thương, thương rồi mới học, học xong đi biểu diễn. Khi âm nhạc dân tộc có biểu diễn, có người thưởng thức thì tự nhiên sẽ có sức sống trở lại, nếu không thì nhanh chóng bị lãng quên.
