Thuốc bảo vệ thực vật có nguồn gốc hóa tổng hợp có ưu điểm là hiệu lực mạnh, phổ tác dụng rộng, trừ được cả những loại bệnh trước đây còn chưa diệt được nhưng tác hại của nó có ảnh hưởng tới động vật (kể cả con người) còn ít người quan tâm nghiên cứu. Thuốc bảo vệ thực vật Ofatox400EC có ảnh hưởng tới động vật hay không là kết quả nghiên cứu của bài viết này. Kết quả nghiên cứu đã kết luận rằng: Khi tiêm phúc mạc Ofatox400EC liều pha loãng đã gây tổn thương cấu trúc mô tủy xương chuột nhắt trắng (Swiss). Tổn thương nặng nhất sau 3 ngày tiêm và sau 21 ngày tiêm, chuột đã hồi phục khỏe mạnh. Sau này, chúng tôi có cơ sở để nghiên cứu tác động của Ofatox400EC lên một số chỉ tiêu sinh lý người như một số tác giả đã nghiên cứu về DDT, 666, 2,4-D, Wofatox, Basa 50EC…
