Trong năm 2014, Vietcombank tiếp tục đẩy mạnh các hoạt động hợp tác quốc tế, trong đó nổi bật là sự kiện Vietcombank đã đồng tổ chức thành công Hội nghị Thường niên các Ngân hàng Tiết kiệm và Bán lẻ Thế giới (WSBI) khu vực châu Á - Thái Bình Dương lần thứ 20. Đây là sự kiện đánh dấu một bước tiến lớn trong việc quảng bá tên tuổi của Ngân hàng và mở rộng hơn nữa quan hệ với các đối tác quốc tế. Đây cũng là lần đầu tiên Hội nghị thường niên các Ngân hàng Tiết kiệm và Bán lẻ khu vực Châu Á Thái Bình Dương được tổ chức tại Việt Nam với sự tham gia của các thành viên đến từ các quốc gia trong khu vực và các thành viên quan sát đến từ các châu lục khác.
