The technique used in most of the commercial jammers is based on noise attack. In the previously designed cell-phone jammers, the designers came up with an electronic device that acts as a transmitter to transmit electromagnetic signals of respective frequency and higher power as used by GSM/DCS systems. In this technique voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) plays a major role in generating the jamming frequency. In our research we found that the above technique is complex one as compared to our technique because our idea of jamming through spectrum distortion proves to be simpler, easier to fabricate and cost effective [1]. The rapid proliferation of cell phones at the beginning of the 21st century to near ubiquitous status eventually raised problems, such as their potential use to invade privacy or contribute to academic cheating. In addition, the public backlash was growing against the disruption cell phones introduced in daily life.
