Thí nghiệm tìm ra mô hình nuôi ếch Thái Lan thương phẩm đạt hiệu quả cao nhất được thực hiện thông qua việc so sánh 2 mô hình nuôi: giai lưới (dưới ao) và bể bạt (trên bờ). Ếch giống ban đầu khi lấy về có kích cỡ khoảng 2g/con và thí nghiệm tiến hành nuôi trong 90 ngày. Với mỗi mô hình lặp lại 3 lần, kích thước mỗi giai/bạt là 2m2 thả với mật độ 60con/m2 . Cứ 10 ngày tiến hành cân đo trọng lượng 1 lần. Kết quả thu được sau 3 tháng nuôi cho thấy ếch nuôi trong mô hình giai lưới dưới ao cho tăng trưởng nhanh hơn nuôi bằng bể bạt trong khi tỷ lệ sống và lượng thức ăn ếch sử dụng trong 2 mô hình là gần như là giống nhau. Có thể kết luận là mô hình nuôi trong giai lưới cho hiệu quả cao hơn trong bể bạt.

Abstract:
