Cùng với sự phát triển không ngừng của xã hội và nhằm đáp ứng nhu cầu về đào tạo ngôn ngữ trong thời kỳ hội nhập hiện nay, Bộ môn Ngoại ngữ thuộc Khoa Sư phạm đã được nâng cấp thành Khoa Ngoại ngữ Trường Đại học An Giang theo Quyết định số 578/QĐ/UBND về việc thành lập Khoa Ngoại ngữ thuộc Trường Đại học An Giang ban hành ngày 09 tháng 4 năm 2015 của Ủy ban Nhân dân Tỉnh An Giang và Quyết định số 1753/QĐ-ĐHAG ban hành ngày 08 tháng 10 năm 2015 về việc thành lập Khoa Ngoại ngữ của Trường Đại học An Giang.
