Hậu quả: Thừa lao động,thiếu việc làm,nảy sinh các vấn đề xã hội như cờ bạc,trộm cướp. Chất lượng cuộc sống thấp dẫn tới đói nghèo. Tài nguyên bị khai thác quá mức có nguy cơ cạn kiệt,môi trường bụ suy thoái.Khó khăn trong vấn đề giải quyết việc làm,văn hoá,y tế,giáo dục.

Biện pháp: Tuyên truyền và giảng dạy để nâng cao hiểu biết của người dân về vấn đề dân số và tầm quan trọng của vấn đề này. Có một chiến lược thực hiện kế hoạch hóa gia đình phổ biến và có hiệu quả.
