Hiện nay, ngành du lịch địa phương này tiếp tục triển khai xây dựng quy hoạch tổng thể phát triển du lịch Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu đến năm 2025 và tầm nhìn đến năm 2030; triển khai rà soát các sản phẩm du lịch đặc trưng trên địa bàn tỉnh như: du lịch sinh thái, nghỉ dưỡng, biển, du lịch tham quan các di tích lịch sử; từng bước nâng cao các sản phẩm du lịch hỗ trợ như: ẩm thực, hoạt động lễ hội truyền thống, du lịch tâm linh…
