Tôi mong muốn được tham dự và trao đổi tại hội thảo về các vấn đề về Ô nhiễm khí quyển và sức khỏe con người, Đất than bùn và rừng ngập mặn nhiệt đới đặc biệt là về Tài nguyên nước. Tài nguyên nước ở Việt Nam được đánh giá là rất đa dạng, phong phú và có trữ lượng dồi dào tuy nhiên, nguồn tài nguyên này phân bố không đều trong lãnh thổ và biến đổi mạnh theo thời gian, do đó tình trạng thiếu nước ngọt đã và đang xảy ra ở nhiều nơi, nhất là vùng núi cao, đồng bằng ven biển và hải đảo. Mặt khác, việc khai thác, sử dụng nước ngầm không hợp lý đã gây ra sụt lún đất, hạ thấp mực nước ngầm ở một số nơi, nhiễm mặn khá phổ biến ở nhiều vùng ven biển, ảnh hưởng tới tầng chứa nước ngọt. Cùng với lượng mưa giảm đáng kể ở Việt Nam trong thập kỷ tới có thể dẫn đến tình trạng thiếu nước ngày càng gia tăng

Water resources in Vietnam is very diverse, rich and abundant capacity however, this resource is distributed in the territory and strength change over time, so the fresh water shortages have occurred in many places, especially in the high mountains the coastal plains, and Islands. On the other hand, the exploitation, the use of groundwater is not reasonably has caused land subsidence, lowering of underground water levels in some places, salty quite popular in many coastal regions, affecting freshwater layer. Along with significantly reduced rainfall in Vietnam in the coming decades could lead to water shortages is increasing
