Mặc dù là xe máy là một phương tiện giao thông tiện lợi, phù hợp với điều kiện sống ở Việt Nam song vấn đề an toàn điều khiển xe máy lại thực sự là một vấn đề nghiêm trọng. Theo thống kê, mỗi ngày Vietnam có hàng trăm vụ tai nạn giao thông và phần lớn trong số đó là tai nạn xe máy. Hậu quả về người và của sau mỗi tai nạn là không thể tính được. Vấn đề đặt ra là làm sao việc sử dụng xe máy nói chung và xe máy Honda nói riêng là an toàn và thực sự hữu ích. Từ đấy Honda đã có chương trình dạy lái xe an toàn mang tên “ Tôi yêu Việt Nam “. Chương trình này thực sự là một phương pháp truyền thông hiệu quả cho các sản phẩm của Honda.
