Người dùng Việt Nam đã có thể gọi điện miễn phí trên Facebook Messenger
Sau khi cho phép người dùng tại một số quốc gia sử dụng thử chắc năng gọi điện miễn phí trên ứng dụng Messenger, Facebook mới đây đã cho phép người dùng tại Việt Nam sử dụng tính năng hấp dẫn này.
Facebook lần đầu tiên thử nghiệm chức năng gọi điện miễn phí qua Internet trên ứng dụng chat Messenger của hãng từ năm 2013, ban đầu cho người dùng tại Mỹ và Canada, đến đầu năm nay, chức năng này tiếp tục được mở rộng cho người dùng tại nhiều quốc gia khác và cho đến nay, người dùng Việt Nam đã có thể sử dụng tính năng này.
Với tính năng này, người dùng có thể sử dụng Messenger để gọi điện miễn phí qua Internet đến người dùng Facebook khác, tương tự như các ứng dụng gọi điện miễn phí như Viber hay Hangouts...
Chức năng này hiện có tác dụng đối với người dùng di động lẫn trên nền web. Với người dùng di động đòi hỏi thiết bị phải cài đặt ứng dụng nhắn tin Messenger.
Với người dùng sử dụng ứng dụng Messenger trên di động, bạn nhấn vào biểu tượng điện thoại ở góc trên bên phải giao diện chat của Messenger để bắt đầu cuộc gọi. Trong khi đó với người dùng Facebook trên nền web, để thực hiện cuộc gọi miễn phí bạn nhấn vào biểu tượng camera ở góc trên bên phải khung chat (chức năng gọi video miễn phí), tuy nhiên người dùng có thể tùy chọn chức năng tắt video để chỉ sử dụng chức năng gọi điện thông thường nếu muốn.
Nếu bỏ lỡ một cuộc gọi nào đó từ bạn bè, người dùng sẽ nhận được thông báo mỗi khi truy cập vào Messenger.
