Việt Nam đã có một cơ cấu tổ chức khá hoàn chỉnh về QLRTT – hệ thống tổ chức của BCĐPCLBTW và các BCHPCLB&TKCN tại địa phương. Chính phủ đã ban hành Nghị định 1466/20140/ND-CP tăng cường năng lực và hệ thống tổ chức của hệ thống PCTTLB và TKCN các cấp. Ở cấp quốc gia, BCĐPCLBTW và UBQGTK&CN đã phối hợp một cách hiệu quả trong các tình huống ứng phó khẩn cấp, cứu hộ cứu nạn. Ở tuyến tỉnh và cơ sở, việc hợp nhất thành BCHPCLB&TKCN đã góp phần tăng hiệu quả và sự kịp thời của các hoạt động ứng phó. Tại Việt Nam, mạng lưới các tổ chức đoàn thể, xã hội là thành viên của Mặt trận Tổ quốc Việt Nam các cấp cũng rất tích cực tham gia vào các hoạt động cứu trợ khẩn cấp (ví dụ như: Đoàn Thanh niên, HCTĐ, Hội phụ nữ, ….). Gần đây Chiến lược quốc gia về biến đổi khí hậu mà trọng tâm là giảm rủi ro thiên tai đã được phê duyệt.

Vietnam already has a fairly complete structure of QLRTT-BCĐPCLBTW's organizational system and the local TKCN & BCHPCLB. The Government has issued Decree 1466/20140/ND-CP on strengthening the capacity and organizational system of the PCTTLB and TKCN levels. At the national level, the BCĐPCLBTW and UBQGTK & CN has collaborated efficiently in emergency response situations, rescue rescue. At the bases, and the Union of the BCHPCLB & TKCN have contributed to increase the efficiency and timeliness of response activities. In Vietnam, the network of institutional, social is a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also very actively involved in emergency relief operations (for example: HCTĐ, youth, women, etc.).
