Tìm ra được cách học tốt là một trong những yếu tố giúp thành công trong học tập. Có rất nhiều cách học: học với thầy cô ở trường, học với bạn bè, tự học … Tự học là một cách học rất cần thiết và quan trọng trong học tập. Nó quyết định sự thành công trong học tập. Tự học là gì? Nó có lợi ích gì?
Tự học là một quá trình tự bản thân người học thu thập thông tin, xử lý thông tin để biến thành kiến thức của mình.

Ngoài ra, tự học giúp học sinh sinh viên chủ động suy nghĩ, tìm tòi, khám phá, nghiên cứu và nắm được bản chất vấn đề qua việc tiếp thu được kiến thức từ nhiều nguồn khác nhau.
