Tỷ số khả năng thanh toán hiện hành là thước đo khả năng thanh toán ngắn hạn của doanh nghiệp, cho biết mức độ các khoản nợ của các chủ nợ ngắn hạn được trang trải bằng các tài sản có thể chuyển đổi thành tiền trong một giai đoạn tương đương với thời hạn của các khoản nợ đó.
Tỷ số này có được chấp thuận hay không tuỳ thuộc vào sự so sánh với giá trị trung bình của ngành và so sánh với các tỷ số của năm trước.
