Mục tiêu hoạt động của Phòng giao dịch số 1 là cung cấp các dịch vụ, sản phẩm của Ngân hàng cho khách hàng thuộc khu vực dân cư các phường 5, 6, 7 thuộc quận Bình Thạnh và các phường 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 thuộc quận Gò Vấp. Đặc biệt cung cấp dịch vụ thu hộ học phí, phát hành thẻ và các dịch vụ khác cho hơn 80.000 sinh viên và gần 4.000 cán bộ công nhân viên trường Đại học Công Nghiệp Tp.HCM. Ngoài ra, Phòng giao dịch còn thực hiện hoạt động huy động vốn, cho vay, mua bán ngoại tệ, thanh toán quốc tế và các dịch vụ khác về ngoại hối theo chính sách quản lý ngoại hối của Chính phủ, Ngân hàng Nhà nước và Ngân hàng Agribank Việt Nam.
