Có một câu thành ngữ ở Việt Nam mang ý nghĩa rằng: Bạn có thể học được nhiều thứ chỉ với một ngày đường. Phiên bản tiếng Anh của nó là: Travelling forms a young man.
Đã gần hai tháng trôi qua kể từ khi tôi đặt chân đến Phân Lan. Tiếp xúc với một nền văn hóa và phong cách sống hoàn toàn mới, tôi đã học thêm được nhiều điều. Là một học sinh năm nhất ở một môi trường mới, có quá nhiều thứ mới mẻ đối với tôi. Tôi gặp được nhiều bạn bè từ khắp mọi nơi trên thế giới, mỗi người có một background và phong cách sống khác nhau. Điều đó khiến tôi có cơ hội được tiếp xúc với nhiều nền văn hóa và mở mang tầm nhìn về thế giới rộng lớn. Tôi học được cách học tập, làm việc nhóm trong môi trường đa quốc gia, những điều cần có, những trở ngại khó khăn khi làm việc dưới rào cản ngôn ngữ, rào cản văn hóa. Đồng thời, trong môn học Multicultural …. Tôi có được cái nhìn tổng quát về ngành công nghiệp du lịch, về khái niệm du lịch và Hospitality, về cách thức xây dựng trải nghiệm. Cộng thêm giới thiệu sơ lược về chương trình và định hướng học tập. Từ đó tôi có cái nhìn rõ nét hơn về chương trình học, về những gì sẽ được học trong những năm sắp tới tại Lapland UAS. Trong bản common assignment này, tôi sẽ nói rõ hơn về những gì tôi đã được học và trải nghiệm sau khoảng thời gian đầu ở đây.

In a common assignment, I will elaborate on what I was learning and experience the first time around here.

It has been nearly two months have passed since I arrived in Finland. Exposure to a culture and a lifestyle completely new, I learn lots of things. As a first year student in a new environment, there is so much new to me. I meet lots of friends from all over the world, each with a background and different lifestyle. That gave me the opportunity to be exposed to many different cultures and develop a vision of the world at large. I learned how to learn, teamwork in multinational environment, the need to have, difficult obstacles while working as language barriers, cultural barriers. At the same time, in the course Multicultural .... I get an overview of the tourism industry, the concept of tourism and Hospitality, about how to build experience. Plus a brief introduction about the program and learning orientation. Since then I have a clearer vision of the curriculum, about what will be learned in the coming years in Lapland UAS. In this assignment common, I will say more about what I have learned and experienced after the first period here.
