Tiền thân Công ty Cổ phần Việt Hưng là Xí nghiệp May Việt Hưng, một trong những đơn vị dẫn đầu trực thuộc Tổng Công ty Cổ phần May Việt Tiến. Sau khi thành lập Công ty Cổ phần, Việt Hưng đã không ngừng kiện toàn bộ máy tổ chức, cải tiến công nghệ, đầu tư trang thiết bị hiện đại đem lại hiệu quả cao nhất cho công việc, nâng cao chất lượng sản phẩm. Đồng thời sử dụng tối đa mọi nguồn lực, thường xuyên tổ chức các lớp tập huấn nâng cao trình độ quản lý và tay nghề cho cán bộ công nhân viên. Để mở rộng sản xuất, Công ty đã đầu tư xây dựng thêm một Công ty con (Công ty TNHH Khang Thịnh), với diện tích hơn 11.000 m2 nhằm nâng cao hơn nữa năng lực sản xuất, đáp ứng được các đơn hàng lớn.
Công ty áp dụng nghiêm ngặt hệ thống quản lý chất lượng ISO, tiêu chuẩn trách nhiệm xã hội SA và tiêu chuẩn an ninh CTPAT.
