Một người đàn ông rất thích sưu tầm những quyển sách, truyện ma. Một hôm nghe tin ở nơi nọ có 1 quyển truyện ma rất quý , ông ta liền đến mua ngay.

Người chủ quán bảo ông ta:
- Cuốn truyện này rất hay nhưng lại có 1 lời nguyền khủng khiếp, lúc đọc xong cuốn truyện này ông không được giở trang cuối cùng ra xem, nếu không sẽ có tai họa xảy đến với ông

Sau khi trả tiền cuốn sách quý hết 3 triệu đồng cho chủ quán, ông ta trở về nhà và nghiền ngẫm hết cuốn truyện. Do quá tò mò ông đã mở trang cuối cùng ra xem, ông chỉ kịp hét lên 1 tiếng thất thanh rồi đau tim mà chết
