Theo TS. Nguyễn Thiên Tuế, kết quả trên là công sức, trí tuệ của tập thể cán bộ quản lý, giảng viên, nhân viên và sinh viên toàn trường nỗ lực phấn đấu không ngừng trong suốt 5 năm qua. Tuy nhiên, đây mới là bước khởi đầu bởi hoạt động đảm bảo chất lượng là quá trình cải tiến thường xuyên, liên tục để duy trì và nâng cao chất lượng hoạt động đào tạo.
Được biết, ngoài kiểm định theo các tiêu chuẩn của Bộ GD&ĐT, trường cũng đã đăng ký kiểm định chương trình đào tạo theo chuẩn khu vực và quốc tế từ năm 2016, đối với 9 chương trình theo tiêu chuẩn AUN (kỹ thuật điện - điện tử; kỹ thuật môi trường; quản lý tài nguyên - môi trường; quản trị kinh doanh; kế toán…) và 6 chương trình theo tiêu chuẩn ABET (kỹ thuật cơ khí, công nghệ chế tạo máy, công nghệ thông tin, hệ thống thông tin, công nghệ thực phẩm, công nghệ hóa học). Dự kiến năm 2018, 2019, 2020 tất cả những chương trình trên sẽ được các tổ chức quốc tế tiến hành kiểm định.
