Khi viết lá thư này, lời đầu tiên em xin được gửi lời cảm ơn chân thành nhất đến tấm lòng của nhà tài trợ đã hỗ trợ cho nhiều sinh viên đang học tập tại thành phố Hồ Chí Minh nói chung và đặc biệt là riêng bản thân em. Em thực sự rất xúc động khi là một trong những sinh viên 3 năm liền được nhận học bổng NVC, là một người con sống trong gia đình thuần nông và là chị cả trong gia đình có 3 chị em với hoàn cảnh gia đình khó khăn, bố không may bị tai nạn lao động nên đôi chân không thể đi lại bình thường và cũng không thể làm việc nặng nhọc như trước đây được nữa. Bao nhiêu khó khăn mẹ em phải gánh vác hết để có thể lo thuốc thang cho bố và lo cho 3 chị em em ăn học. Chính vì vậy mà gia đình em gặp nhiều khó khăn trong cuộc sống. Tuy số tiền từ quỹ học bổng không quá lớn để có thể trang trãi được hết cuộc sống của em. Nhưng với nguồn tài trợ từ quỹ học bổng đã phần nào hỗ trợ cho em về mặt vật chất, và quan trọng hơn đó là về mặt tinh thần. Nó đã tạo cho bản thân em một động lực lớn trong học tập và rèn luyện bản thân để xứng đáng với những gì mà nhà tài trợ đã mang đến cho em, không những thế qua quỹ học bổng này sinh viên Việt Nam chúng em còn có thêm nhiều cơ hội để biết thêm đất nước Nhật Bản xinh đẹp được mệnh danh là xứ sở hoa Anh Đào với những con người vô cùng thân thiện và vui vẻ. Đặc biệt là sinh viên Việt Nam còn được giao lưu trực tiếp với sinh viên Nhật Bản, đó là điều mà sinh viên Việt Nam chúng em cảm thấy rất vui.
