Đối với tôi, dù có là chiến thắng thì bạo lực cuối cùng cũng chỉ mang lại nỗi đau, tôi đã luôn cho nó là nỗi đau hơn là một điều gì đó để tự hào. Việt Nam đã cố gắng theo đuổi đến cùng cuộc chiến vũ trang. Nhật Bản đã chấp nhận thua cuộc sau hai quả bom nguyên tử để cứu lấy con người Nhật Bản. Việt Nam là một nước thắng trận. Nhật Bản là một nước thua trận. Trong suốt hàng chục năm người Việt Nam đã sống với niềm tự hào và người Nhật Bản đã sống với sự xấu hổ. Sau 20 năm Nhật vươn lên thành cường quốc và Việt Nam trải qua 40 năm vẫn là một nước nghèo. Vậy ai mới thật sự là người chiến thắng?
