Xã Điền hương, Huyện Phong điền là một xã nghèo với dân số 2.415 người, diện tích 1.725 ha. Phía Đông giáp xã Điền Môn và biển Đông. Phía Tây giáp tỉnh Quảng Trị. Phía Nam giáp xã Phong Bình và xã Phong Chương. Và Phía Bắc giáp tỉnh Quảng Trị và biển Đông.
