Bộ xây dựng vừa góp ý kiến vào tổng mức đầu tư dự án tuyến đường sắt đô thị thí điểm của Thành phố Hà Nội, đoạn Nhổn - ga Hà Nội và cho biết tổng mức đầu tư 783 triệu Euro ( khoảng 18.408 tỉ đồng), do nhà tư vấn Systra ( Pháp ) lập là phù hợp với các quy định hiện hành đối với các dự án sử dụng nguồn vốn hỗ trợ phát triển chính thức ODA. Bộ xây dựng kiến nghị thủ tướng chính phủ chấp thuận đề nghị của UBND Thành phố Hà Nội về tổng mức đầu tư nói trên.
Dự án có tổng chiều khoảng 12,5 km với 4 ga ngầm, 8 ga trên cao, có thang cuốn, thang máy.Vốn đầu tư được vay từ nguồn ODA của Chính phủ Pháp ( 250 triệu Euro). Cơ quan phát triển Pháp ( 110 triệu euro), Ngân hàng phát triển Châu Á ( 220 triệu euro), Ngân hàng Châu Âu ( 130 triệu euro). Phần còn lại do ngân sách Nhà nước và thành phố Hà Nội chi trả.
