Thực hiện Quyết định 1215/ 2011/QĐ-TTg ngày 22 tháng 7 năm 2011 của Thủ tưởng Chính phủ phê duyệt Đề án trợ giúp xã hội và phục hồi chức năng cho người tâm thần, người rối nhiễu tâm trí giai đoạn 2011-2020, các Bộ, nghành liên quan đã khẩn trương hướng dẫn địa phương triển khai các nhóm công việc; xây dựng kế hoạch thực hiện đề án 1215; quy hoạch phát triển hệ thống các có sở BTXH chăm sóc và phục hồi chức năng cho NBTT và người rối nhiễu tâm trí; truyền thông, nâng cao nhận thức về trách nhiệm của gia đình, cộng đồng và toàn xã hội về chăm sóc và phục hồi chức năng cho đối tượng.
