Dựa vào các sơ đồ quản lý trong Google, ta có thể thấy Google đang theo cấu trúc phẳng. Công ty được quản lý bởi một ban giám đốc sau đó người giám đốc điều hành sẽ ban hành mệnh lệnh xuống các cấp dưới. Điều này được thấy rõ trong một số bộ phận như kỹ thuật, sản phẩm, tài chính và kinh doanh, đứng đầu mỗi bộ phận này là từng người leader khác nhau. Ngoài ra, ta có thể nhìn thấy dễ dàng Google còn sử dụng cấu trúc division structure. Một ví dụ điển hình là Google phát triển công ty dựa trên các cấu trúc địa lý với việc Google thực hiện phân chia thành nhiều khu vực khác nhau và có nhiều sự quan tâm để có thể phát triển việc kinh doanh của công ty một cách dễ dàng hơn. Ta có thể thấy trong Google có rất nhiều phòng bang, mỗi phòng bang điều có một chức năng riêng biệt, mục tiêu phát triển của từng phòng bang điều khác nhau, nhưng tất cả đều nhằm mục đích phát triển công ty. Đặc điểm chứng tỏ Google đang sử dụng Divisional structure đó chính vị trí địa lý, Ngày nay, Google đã có hơn 70 văn phòng nằm rãi rác ở nhiều công ty khác nhau với số lượng nhân viên đạt tới con số hơn 20.000 người.
