Ngày 12/6 tổng số người chết do lở đất, lũ và sét đánh tại miền đông nam Bangladesh đã lên đến 107 người. Hơn 50 người vẫn còn mất tích. Khu vực bị ảnh hưởng nặng nhất là một khu ổ chuột đông đúc ở thành phố Chittagong nhiều đồi núi. Nhà chức trách đã sơ tán hàng trăm người đến các trường học xây dựng bằng bê tông.
