Sau khi kí hợp đồng kiểm toán, HVAC sẽ lựa chọn nhóm kiểm toán thực hiện công việc kiểm toán cho Công ty ABC và Công ty XYZ. Nhóm kiểm toán cho Công ty ABC gồm có 5 người tiến hành kiểm toán từ 1/3/2016- 10/3/2016, nhóm kiểm toán cho Công ty XYZ có 7 người tiến hành kiểm toán từ 14/3/2016- 25/3/2016, trong mỗi nhóm có một nhóm trưởng là kiểm toán viên có kinh nghiệm cùng với các kiểm toán viên, trợ lý kiểm toán cùng tiến hành kiểm toán cho khách hàng. Trưởng nhóm kiểm toán là người chịu trách nhiệm lập kế hoạch kiểm toán, và là người chịu trách nhiệm chính cho cuộc kiểm toán.
