Nếu người già dùng điện thoại chủ yếu để liên lạc với con cái và người quen thì phần lớn giới trẻ dùng điện thoại di động như một phương tiện giải trí để truy cập vào các trang mạng xã hội, chụp hình, ghi âm hay quay video, … Tuy nhiên vấn đề sử dụng điện thoại di động ở lứa tuổi vị thành niên cần được xã hội nhìn nhận một cách nghiêm túc và có trách nhiệm hơn.
