Management Information System ( also called MIS)- Đây là một hệ thống quản lý trao đổi thông tin nội bộ chuyên nghiệp, linh hoạt và hiệu quả. MIS ra đời đã mang lại cho các tổ chức, doanh nghiệp một công cụ kiểm soát, quản lý thông tin nội bộ liên tục và chính xác từ đó hỗ trợ người quản lý đưa ra những quyết định kịp thời và tối ưu.
Toàn bộ việc quản lý thông tin như trao đổi văn bản, giao việc, nhắc việc, báo cáo công việc, lịch làm việc, bản tin, thông báo nội bộ, đăng ký lịch tuần, vật tư công cụ đều diễn ra trên một cổng duy nhất và ứng với mỗi người dùng sẽ có một tài khoản duy nhất để đăng nhập hệ thống trên MIS.
