Nhà giáo đối diện trước nhiều áp lực

TT - Ở Việt Nam, chúng ta có rất nhiều mỹ từ để nói về nghề giáo: “nghề cao quý” hay “kỹ sư tâm hồn”... Tuy nhiên, hiện nay những mỹ từ ấy có lẽ chỉ hiện diện trên sách báo.


Khi mà xã hội tràn ngập những hiện tượng bạo lực, hàng loạt những thói hư tật xấu thì làm sao một mình nhà giáo có thể uốn nắn được học sinh? Lẽ ra gia đình, xã hội nên hỗ trợ, chung tay với giáo viên, thì hình như chúng ta lại chỉ chăm chăm tìm cách đổ lỗi cho giáo viên mà thôi
Trong thực tế, có thể nói nghề giáo là một trong những nghề đang chịu nhiều áp lực và bị đối xử thiếu công bằng nhất trong các nghề.
Trước hết là nói về sự công bằng. Có thể nói làm nghề giáo khác hoàn toàn với những nghề khác trong xã hội, vì nghề này không xác định thời gian lao động trong một ngày.
Nếu những nghề khác có quy định rõ thời gian làm việc trong ngày (ví dụ 8-9 giờ/ngày) thì nghề giáo lại không như thế. Sau giờ đứng lớp, về nhà người thầy còn phải làm rất nhiều việc khác như soạn giáo án, chấm bài, chuẩn bị đồ dùng học tập, làm các loại sổ sách, thậm chí phải kết toán sổ sách (nếu họ bị buộc phải thu những khoản thu nào đó do trường quy định)!
Nhà giáo ở Việt Nam không đơn thuần là làm công việc giảng dạy, mà còn làm nhiều việc không tên khác, chưa nói đến việc phải tham gia các phong trào. Như vậy gần như nhà giáo chỉ nghỉ ngơi, tách khỏi công việc liên quan đến trường lớp khi đi ngủ mà thôi.
Phải làm quá nhiều công việc, không có mốc giới hạn thời gian lao động mỗi ngày, nhưng tiền lương và phụ cấp mà họ nhận được có thể nói là không tương xứng với thời gian lao động và số lượng công việc mà họ đã làm. Câu chuyện đến bao giờ giáo viên mới sống được bằng lương vẫn là câu chuyện dài tập, và nó cho thấy một sự bất công mà xã hội đang dành cho những người làm nghề giáo.
Vấn đề kế tiếp mà người giáo viên hiện đang gặp phải, đó là thiếu sự hỗ trợ từ gia đình và xã hội trong việc giáo dục học sinh. Có thể nói hiện nay nhiều bậc phụ huynh gần như không cộng tác với giáo viên trong quá trình giáo dục con em mình, mà hình như chỉ chăm chăm vào việc bắt lỗi giáo viên, khi giáo viên có một hành xử nào đó chưa đúng đối với con em mình. Xã hội cũng gần như luôn chực chờ lên án mỗi khi có một vụ việc sai phạm nào đó xảy ra nơi các giáo viên.
Phụ huynh, xã hội không hiểu rằng giáo viên cũng là một con người, cũng có những khiếm khuyết, cũng có thể mắc sai lầm, họ không phải là những siêu nhân miễn nhiễm khỏi mọi áp lực từ cuộc sống đời thường.
Một vấn đề không thể không nói tới đó là hành vi, ứng xử của học sinh ngày nay. Có lẽ không cần phải khảo cứu chuyên sâu, mà chỉ cần quan sát cũng có thể thấy học sinh ngày nay cực kỳ khó giáo dục hơn học sinh ngày xưa.
Sự tôn sư trọng đạo, sự lễ phép đối với người lớn, đối với thầy cô ở học sinh dường như đang rất thấp. Tất nhiên đây không phải lỗi của các em, mà lỗi từ phía xã hội: sống và được uốn nắn trong một bối cảnh nhiều bạo lực, nhiều ứng xử phi chuẩn mực thì làm sao học sinh không bị lây nhiễm được? Sự lây nhiễm này được các em mang vào và thể hiện trong trường học, giáo viên chính là người trực tiếp lãnh nhận những điều đó.
