Tình hình ngành công nghiệp xe Việt Nam:
Thực trạng:
Là ngành công nghiệp phát triển trễ (1992) , phát triển sau các nước trong khu vực 30-40 năm.
Hiện tại trong nước có 12 liên doanh, 160 doanh nghiệp lắp ráp và sửa chữa ô tô ra đời.
Hầu hết doanh nghiệp chỉ nhập khẩu linh kiện, sau đó lắp ráp với dây chuyền công nghệ của công ty mẹ.
Tỷ lệ nội địa hóa ≤25%.
Lắp ráp chỉ là phần ngọn, chân núi là công nghiệp phụ trợ vẫn chưa được quan tâm phát triển đúng mức.
Định hướng phát triển:
Nhập khẩu công nghệ tiên tiến, duy trì sự cạnh tranh nhưng có sự bảo hộ cho ngành công nghiệp non trẻ.
