Đánh giá Asus S550C - ultrabook cảm ứng có ổ quang
Asus S550c có màn hình cảm ứng nhạy, hiển thị màu khá tốt nhưng thời lượng pin còn kém, kích thước hơi lớn và nặng.

Được giới thiệu vào giữa tháng 3 vừa qua, những mẫu ultrabook cảm ứng Vivobook kích thước màn hình mới đã có mặt tại Việt Nam. Asus tiếp tục giữ thế mạnh của mình trên phân khúc laptop chạy Windows 8 có cảm ứng giá hấp dẫn. Trước đó, các dòng máy 11 và 14 inch của hãng cũng luôn có mức giá tốt nhất so với các đối thủ cùng tính năng trên thị trường.

Phiên bản được Số Hóa thử nghiệm là Vivobook S550CA-CJ013H với màn hình cảm ứng 15,6 inch độ phân giải 1.366 x 768 pixel. Cấu hình của máy cũng khá tốt với vi xử lý Intel Core i3-3217U tốc độ 1,8 GHz, bộ nhớ RAM dung lượng 4 GB, ổ cứng lai với 24 GB SSD và 500 GB HDD, chip đồ họa Intel HD Graphics 4000 và ổ quang đọc/ghi DVD.

Giá bán tham khảo trên thị trường cho phiên bản này là 16,5 triệu đồng. Dòng S550C còn có hai model khác cấu hình mạnh hơn sử dụng vi xử lý Intel Core i5 có giá bán 17,9 và 20 triệu đồng.

Có mức giá khá rẻ so với với các tính năng mang lại nhưng Asus Vivobook S550C vẫn được trang bị lớp vỏ bằng hợp kim chắc chắn vốn chỉ thường xuất hiện ở các model giá trên 20 triệu đồng. Thiết kế chắc chắn nhưng cân nặng thực sự hơi lớn dù vẫn đáp ứng được tiêu chuẩn ultrabook cho màn hình 15,6 inch là 2,6 kg kèm pin.

Kích thước của máy cũng khá lớn, thậm chí bề mặt ngang còn có diện tích lớn hơn một chút so với các mẫu máy tính thông thường cùng kích thước màn hình là 15,6 inch. Với "số đo" 38 x 26,6 x 2,2 cm, S550C không thực sự thích hợp cho người dùng thường xuyên di chuyển. Máy nhắm đến đối tượng sử dụng thay thế máy để bàn nhưng vẫn cần kiểu dáng đẹp và thỉnh thoảng cần thay đổi vị trí.


Mặt trước của S550C vẫn mang màu nâu tối đặc trưng của Asus, đi kèm là lớp vân xước. Tuy nhiên, bề mặt này vẫn bị bám dính vân tay và khá dễ nhận ra khi có ánh sáng phản chiếu. Ở mặt trong máy lại là tông màu trái ngược với màu bạc sáng của kim loại tạo nét sang trong sản phẩm. Phần gồ lên gần bản lề chính là pin của máy được đi kèm.

Ở phần viền hai bên, Asus đã khéo léo sử dụng sự kết hợp phần nối giữa kim loại sáng và tối màu giúp người xem thoạt nhìn có cảm giác máy rất mỏng. Thiết bị được vuốt dần về mặt sau và ở vị trí cạnh bên gần phía trước là loa ngoài.

Với kích thước lớn và rộng rãi ở hai cạnh bên, S550C đem đến cho người dùng gần như đầy đủ các kết nối phổ thông nhất. Ở cạnh trái máy là HDMI, VGA, LAN, USB 3.0, giắc nguồn và khe tản nhiệt, trong khi đó ở cạnh phải là sự xuất hiện của ổ quang đọc ghi DVD, linh kiện tạo nên sự khác biệt của máy với các mẫu ultrabook khác trên thị trường. Ngoài ra, còn có hai cổng USB 2.0 và thêm một đầu đọc thẻ nhớ SD ở cạnh trước.

Ở vị trí này, thao tác cắm thẻ nhớ SD khá khó khăn và đôi khi phải lật hẳn máy lên mới có thể sử dụng được. Trong khi đó, các kết nối hai bên tỏ ra khá hợp lý do cổng HDMI và VGA được đặt rất sát nhau do không được sử dụng đồng thời.

Do màn hình lớn nên S550C có đủ sự rộng rãi cho bàn phím số riêng biệt. Tuy nhiên, cách bố trí kích thước các phím này lại không có sự đồng nhất. Kích thước nhỏ hơn bao gồm cả các phím điều hướng khiến người dùng khi thao tác xem web hay văn bản cho cảm giác bấm hơi ngượng tay. Bù lại, S550C có độ nhạy và cảm giác bấm khá tốt ở các phím chữ tiêu chuẩn bên trái dù hành trình phím hơi ngắn, nhược điểm thường thấy ở các mẫu ultrabook.


Ưu điểm lớn khác của S550C là phần touchpad với kích thước rộng và được làm liền mạch cả hai phím chuột. Bề mặt hơi nhám một chút đã giúp cảm giác tay rất thật và không bị trơn trượt ngay cả khi có hơi dính một chút mồ hôi tay. Thao tác rê chính xác và hỗ trợ đa chạm tốt. Tương tự như các dòng MacBook, người dùng chỉ cần chạm hai ngón tay cùng lúc để gọi menu chuột phải khiến người dùng ít phải sử dụng đến phím chuột.

Do dùng công nghệ màn gương nên góc nhìn của máy khá hạn chế do bị bóng dù màu sắc ít bị thay đổi khi góc lớn dần. Ưu điểm lớn nhất của mẫu S550C là tính năng cảm ứng kết hợp với hệ điều hành Windows 8. Thử nghiệm nhanh cho thấy các cảm ứng rất nhạy trên giao diện Modern UI bên ngoài. Thao tác phóng to thu nhỏ khi sử dụng IE10 hay bản đồ Maps đều rất tốt.

Với cấu hình như trên, máy đạt được điểm số 4,9 khi chấm bằng chương trình Windows Experience Index. Ở thang điểm chi tiết, vi xử lý đạt 6,3, RAM là 5,9, đồ họa là 4,9, đồ họa cho game đạt mức 6,3 và điểm số cho ổ đĩa là 5,9.
