Phần lớn các khoản tiền phụ cấp đều được tính trên cơ sở đánh giá ảnh hưởng của môi trường làm việc. Tiền phụ cấp có ý nghĩa kích thích người lao động thực hiện tốt công việc trong những điều kiện khó khăn, phức tạp hơn bình thường.
