Việt Nam hiện nay đang áp dụng hệ thống miễn thị thực trong thời hạn 30 ngày cho khách du lịch đến từ các nước ASEAN ( trừ Brunei trong thời hạn 14 ngày ) và trong thời hạn 15 ngày đối với khách du lịch đến từ các nước Đan Mạch, Na Uy, Phần Lan, Thụy Điển, Nhật bản, hàn quốc và nga. Chính sách miễn thị thực hiện nay của Việt Nam đã góp phần khá tích cực vào sự phát triển du lịch Việt Nam.

Vietnam is currently applying the system of visa exemption within a period of 30 days for tourists from ASEAN countries (excluding Brunei within 14 days) and within 15 days for tourists arriving from the countries Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Japan, South Korea and Russia. The current visa-free policy of Vietnam have contributed quite positive to the development of tourism in Vietnam.
