Theo Hiệp hội Thép Việt Nam, năm 2011 sản lượng thép Pomina bán ra dẫn đầu cả nước, chiếm 15% thị phần.
Pomina là nhà máy thép lớn nhất Việt Nam với tổng công suất: công suất luyện phôi thép 1,5 triệu tấn; công suất cán thép xây dựng 1,6 triệu tấn. Công ty chiếm 29,37% sản lượng sản xuất thép cả nước với thị phần tiêu thụ là 14,3% trong năm 2009, riêng tại miền Nam thị phần tiêu thụ của công ty là 33,5%.
Sản phẩm cửa thép Pomina có chất lượng với mác thép cao SD390, Gr60 hiện nay chủ yếu được sử dụng tại các công trình lớn như thủy điện, cầu, đường, các cao ốc, khu dân cư hiện đại như thủy điện Đồng Nai, Yaly, Sesan, cầu Thủ Thiêm, Cần Thơ, Rạch Miễu...
Khách hàng chính của công ty là các công ty xây dựng là các Công ty Xây dựng, Công ty Tư vấn - Thiết kế, nhà thầu có uy tín như Tổng Công ty Xây dựng số 1, Cofico, Hòa Bình
