Theo kết quả khảo sát của InMobi (2013), thực hiện với 1,200 người sử dụng mobile internet (người dùng), mỗi ngày người dùng Việt Nam sử dụng khoảng 4.6 giờ sử dụng Tivi, Radio, Mobile, Máy tính và Báo giấy/tạp chí. Trong đó, thời gian sử dụng mobile lớn nhất chiếm 35% tổng thời gian, 25% thời gian xem Tivi, 18% thời gian online trên máy tính, 13% đọc báo/tạp chí và 9% thời gian nghe Radio. So với các một số nước Châu Á, tỷ lệ thời gian sử dụng mobile của người Việt chỉ đúng sau Indonesia (36% thời gian), cao hơn Trung Quốc, Philippin, Ấn độ, Nhật, Singapore, Hồng Kông, Đài Loan, Maylaysia, và Hàn Quốc. So với Thế giới, người dùng Việt Nam cũng có xu hướng giành nhiều thời gian cho mobile hơn.
