Bán hàng và Sản xuất thiếu các cơ chế xử lý thông tin đặc thù của nhau (“cơ chế đèn đỏ”) dẫn đến tình trạng “Nấp chiến hào”! Chưa có workflow phối hợp giữa 2 bên, dẫn đến quản lý sản xuất bị động và ảnh hưởng đến các yếu tố chất lượng khác: chất lượng sản phẩm không như cam kết, giao hàng trễ (vd: do nguyên vật liệu ko sẵn có, phải đợi nhập), vận hành sản xuất bị rối loạn. Cần thiết kế các chu trình phù hợp (workflow với ai làm gì hay phê duyệt ở giai đoạn nào trong chu trình). Nếu có những khúc mắc, các bên cần thống nhất, tuy nhiên cần tuân thủ qui trình (tránh phê duyệt vượt cấp hay mô hình “bánh xe”)
