Thống kê từ Hãng hàng không quốc gi

Thống kê từ Hãng hàng không quốc gia Việt Nam (Vietnam Airlines-VNA) cho thấy,hiện có hơn 2.000 tiếp viên, còn Hãng hàng không giá rẻ Jetstar Pacific Airlines (JPA) hiện cũng có gần 150 tiếp viên hàng không. Dù vậy, hàng năm các hãng hàng không vẫn tổ chức tuyển thêm tiếp viên mới để bổ sung với yêu cầu về ngoại hình không còn quá khắt khe như trước, một tiêu chuẩn được cho là gây hạn chế rất nhiều trong việc tuyển chọn đủ số lượng tiếp viên phục vụ khi mà nhu cầu đang ngày càng gia tăng như hiện nay.
