Về người Việt Nam ở nước ngoài:
a) Triển khai thực hiện chương trình, kế hoạch và chính sách đối với người Việt Nam ở nước ngoài tại địa phương theo hướng dẫn của Bộ Ngoại giao;
b) Phối hợp với các sở ban, ngành của tỉnh trong công tác thông tin, tuyên truyền về chủ trương, chính sách của Đảng và Nhà nước đối với người Việt Nam ở nước ngoài; vận động, hướng dẫn và hỗ trợ người Việt Nam ở nước ngoài và thân nhân của họ ở địa phương trong các hoạt động tại địa phương;
c) Định kỳ tổng kết, đánh giá và đề xuất kiến nghị giải quyết các vấn đề liên quan đến người Việt Nam ở nước ngoài và thân nhân của họ tại địa phương.
