Giảng viên có trách nhiệm giảng dạy, nghiên cứu khoa học và thực hiện các hoạt động chuyên môn khác theo sự phân công và điều hành của Trưởng Bộ môn và Chủ nhiệm Khoa (H6.06.07.01). Tại các cuộc họp của đơn vị, các giảng viên có trách nhiệm báo cáo kế hoạch hoạt động của mình trước toàn đơn vị và nếu có vướng mắc gì Trưởng bộ môn sẽ xem xét, giải quyết hoặc trình Chủ nhiệm Khoa xem xét, giải quyết. Cuối mỗi năm học các giảng viên đều phải tự kiểm điểm công tác trước tất cả các đồng nghiệp để mọi người cùng nhau nhận xét, góp ý cho giảng viên đó (H6.06.07.02).
