ông Marco Saladini, tham tán thương mại ý tại Việt Nam, cho biết: Lễ hội Ý 2008 tại Việt Nam sẽ diễn ra từ ngày 12-6 đến 9-7 tại TPHCM và Hà Nội. Lễ hội có bốn chương trình chính như: Thời trang, tuần lễ phim, lễ hội ẩm thực và hoạt động trưng bày các sản phẩm, đặc sản của Ý.
Chương trình sẽ giới thiệu triển lãm ảnh của nhà nhiếp ảnh Max Salvaggio - tác giả của những bức ảnh đăng trên trang bìa của nhiều tạp chí thời trang nổi tiếng. Ngày 21-6, lễ hội ẩm thực tại khách sạn Park Hyatt giới thiệu các món ăn từ khai vị đến tráng miệng mang phong cách Ý. Bên cạnh đó, từ ngày 26-6, ba siêu thị trong hệ thống Metro sẽ tổ chức chương trình nếm thử thức ăn và rượu vang, khuyến mãi các sản phẩm Ý. Tại mỗi siêu thị, một khung cảnh Ý sẽ được dàn dựng cho khách tham quan.

The Festival has four main programs such as: fashion, film week, food and activities showcasing the products, specialty of Italy.The program will introduce photo exhibition of photographer Max Salvaggio-author of the photos posted on the cover of many fashion magazines. September 21-6, the Food Festival at the Park Hyatt Hotel showcases dishes from appetizers to desserts Italian style. Besides that, from 26-6, three supermarkets in the Metro system will organize the program for food and wine tasting, promotion of Italian products. In each supermarket , a landscape Italy will be staged for the visitors.
